What you should know about choices assn of fort mcmurray
Choices is a Social (Non) Profit that has been serving the community since 1968. We are located on Franklin Avenue close to all essential services and our offices are wheelchair accessible. We provide one-on-one employment support for individuals 18 years of age and older with resume development, interview preparation, job search strategies, skill development, job maintenance and outside referrals to other social service agencies. These barriers and disabilities may include but are not limited to: physical, addictions, homelessness, criminal record, lack of education, age, brain injury, progressive degenerative conditions, mental health issues, developmental cognitive/learning disabilities/restrictions, and lack of computer skills. Our mission is "providing employment support and expanding opportunities for individuals with barriers and disabilities". Our organization is funded by the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo and the Province of Alberta.
